Position Overview:
The Assistant Store Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, team leadership, and ensuring a memorable customer experience. They provide hands-on guidance to the store team and assist in the seamless running of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support:

  • Assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, ensuring efficient workflows.
  • Help uphold the visual merchandising standards of the store in line with brand guidelines.
  • Participate in inventory management and restocking, liaising with the supply chain as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Support and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of customer service.
  • Assist in the training and development of staff, ensuring they are well-versed with product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Step in for the Store Manager as needed and ensure continuous store operations.

Sales & Customer Service:

  • Engage with customers, ensuring they receive a tailored and exceptional shopping experience.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback, escalating to the Store Manager when necessary.
  • Contribute to achieving store sales targets and KPIs.

Financial Assistance:

  • Assist in managing the store's budget and expenses.
  • Support the Store Manager in analyzing sales and financial reports to optimize performance.

Marketing & Promotions:

  • Support in-store marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
  • Engage with the local community and customers to foster brand loyalty.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of retail experience, with a background in leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and MS Office Suite.
